• What is the Luggage Lounge?

  The Luggage Lounge is your convenient luggage service in car-free Zermatt. Instead of struggling with lockers, simply hand over your luggage, ski equipment or shopping directly to our team. We’ll store everything safely for you so that you can enjoy Zermatt without a care in the world.

• Where can I find the Luggage Lounge?

  Bodmenstrasse 14. We are centrally located, just a 2-minute walk from Zermatt railway station and the main mountain cable cars.

• What are the opening hours?

  We are here for you every day. Our exact opening hours for dropping off and collecting luggage are: Monday – Friday: 09.00 – 12.00 | 13.30 – 18.00

• What sort of luggage can I check in?

  We accept almost everything: from handbags and shopping bags to suitcases and rucksacks, right through to a full set of winter sports equipment (skis, snowboards, ski boots).

• Is there a maximum size or weight limit?

  No. As we don’t use lockers, we’re extremely flexible. Even bulky excess luggage or long ski bags are no problem for us.

• Do I need to book in advance?

  However, to ensure availability (particularly during the high season), we recommend making a quick online booking in advance via our website.

• How does payment work?

  Payment is straightforward and can be made when you drop off or collect your items. We are a cashless business and accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), as well as Twint.

• How secure is my luggage?

  Your luggage is stored in a storage room that is not accessible to the public, is under CCTV surveillance and is secured by an alarm system.

• What happens if I can’t make it in time to collect my luggage before closing time?

  In that case, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll find a solution – if necessary, we’ll store your luggage safely until the following morning.
